1. The Telangana government launched the 'Medicine from the Sky' project under which medicines and vaccines will be delivered using drones, a first of its kind initiative across Asia.

2. Lawyer Tejas Chauhan has been appointed as the Regional Director of South Asia at the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Paris. 

■ Tejas Chauhan will be the second Indian to be appointed to the post and will be based in Singapore.

■ The ICC Court was established in 1923 and has helped resolve difficulties in international commercial and commercial disputes to support trade and investment


3. Iqbal Singh Lalpura, a former IPS officer who joined the BJP in 2012, has been elected as the chairman of the National Commission for Minorities. 

■ Lalpura served as SSP Amritsar, SSP Tarntaran and Additional Inspector General CID Amritsar during his tenure as an IPS officer. 

■ Lalpura has written about 14 books on Sikh philosophy and history, such as 'Japji Sahib Ek Vichar', Gurbani Ek Vichar' and 'Raj Karega Khalsa'.


4. The Thamirabarani civilization in Tamil Nadu is at least 3,200 years old, suggests carbon dating on organic materials from archaeological excavations at Sivakalai in Thoothukudi district. 

■ In the background of these findings, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announced a Rs 15 crore museum at Thirunelveli to display the excavation findings. 

■ The museum will be called Porunai, which is the ancient name of the Thamirabarani River.


5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Sardardham Bhawan in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and performed 'Bhoomi Pujan' of Sardardham Phase-II Girls Hostel (Girls Hostel) through video conferencing. 

■ Sardardham is working towards educational and social transformation, upliftment of weaker sections of the society and providing employment opportunities to the youth.

6. The government has exempted 165 District Mineral Foundations (DMFs) from paying income tax. Earlier, 151 DMF trusts were exempted from tax which has been increased to 165. 


7. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar released the book 'Haryana Environment and Pollution Code' compiled by former IAS officer (retired) and renowned poet Dheera Khandelwal.


8. NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission in collaboration with ISRO and CBSE has launched 'Space Challenge' for school students across India. 

● Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan released the NIRF Ranking 2021. The ranking has been released under various categories, which include Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Composite, Research etc. 


9. The Hyderabad-based Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) has received a patent for making an automatic machine for the production of conical fireworks or 'anar'.


10. NIRF Ranking 2021 released by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The ranking has been released under various categories, which include Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Composite, Research etc. 

● In the overall category, IIT Madras has topped the ranking, while IISc Bengaluru is at the second position, followed by IIT Bombay at the third position. 


11. Delhi Power Minister Satyendar Jain inaugurated the city's first urban microgrid system installed at Shivalik in Malviya Nagar, which will save 115 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually. 

● The microgrid (solar battery) system has been installed under the Indo-German Solar Partnership Project (IGSEP).


12. President Ram Nath Kovind laid the foundation stone of the new building complex of Uttar Pradesh National Law University and Allahabad High Court. Uttar Pradesh National Law University is being constructed in Jhalwa area of ​​Prayagraj.
