Bajrang Punia won bronze medal
Wrestler Bajrang Punia on Saturday defeated Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan to win a bronze medal in the men's freestyle 65kg category at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. Punia defeated Niyazbekov 8-0 in the bronze medal match.
Neeraj Chopra won India's first gold medal
Indian star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has created history. Neeraj has given India its first gold medal in Tokyo Olympics by performing historic performance. Neeraj won the gold medal by throwing 87.58 meters away. India has got the second gold after 13 years in the individual competition of the Olympics. Earlier, Abhinav Bindra had achieved the feat of winning the gold medal for the first time in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Johnson & Johnson's single dose vaccine has been approved by the Drug Controller General of India for emergency use authorization. With this, there have been five vaccines against corona in India. The American company Johnson & Johnson has a single dose vaccine of Corona. Till now, all the corona vaccines that India has received emergency use authorization are of double doses. Earlier in India Bharat Biotech's Covaccine, Serum's Covishield, Russia's Sputnik-V and Moderna have been approved for emergency use authorization and all of these are double dose vaccines.
The first hydrogen fuel cell based train will run in India
Indian Railways is now preparing to run trains on hydrogen fuel. Indian Railways is preparing to run the country's first hydrogen fuel train on the Sonipat-Jind section of Haryana. Under the Zero Carbon Emission Mission on behalf of the Railways, its initiative is being started in this scheme.
